About Kristine Cooke

Kristine Cholakian Cooke is a creative director and prop stylist based just North of Atlanta, Georgia.

For almost a decade, Kristine has been hired to style the most versatile collection of creative projects, all because of her killer design instincts. Her portfolio boasts a year-long crafting initiative with global children's apparel companies, brand consulting and product styling for over a dozen small businesses, food styling for cookbooks and magazine alike, home staging and interior styling, and creative direction for over 100 weddings and social events. She has a way of marrying ahead-of-the-trend details with practicality and personality. Simply put, she creates balance. Left- and right-brained. A Libra, through and through. 

With a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a background in Fashion Public Relations and Events, Kristine's first exposure to the styling world was in Manhattan, on set at high-end fashion shoots, behind the scenes at Fashion Week and in the trenches of Market. That experience and several years in The City set a foundation for her to build a career that overflows with detail and design.

Kristine launched her first business at 25 and swiftly took the wedding and events industry by storm. Simply Charming Socials, an event planning and design company specializing in weddings and social events, has earned national acclaim, garnering press in the industry's top publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES, and The Knot. The real weddings and editorial work of Simply Charming Socials can be seen in dozens of media outlets. The boutique firm produces a small number of events each year, all with Kristine's combination of planning expertise, etiquette knowledge, and, most notably, keen design skills. She also has a way of curating the right team of creatives and collaborators to get the job done. 

On a personal note: Kristine lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her graphic designer husband Ken, new baby girl Catherine, and the sweetest chihuahua Lucy. She enjoys mini adventures with her little family, visiting her birthplace NYC, entertaining for friends and family (always including a tablescape), Martha Stewart Living, and sitcoms.
